Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and repairing community buildings and grounds in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies Performing preventative maintenance on all building equipment
Directing and executing preventative maintenance programs, general repairs and unit-turns
Directing the community maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff to include hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Conducting regular inspections, identifying needs and executing correction and/or coordinating with the Regional Maintenance Director

We seek the following
Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
3 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing
Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
Must have a compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
