Position Purpose
To provide accurate and timely record keeping of all chapter financial/accounting records including payments, inventory and payroll. May provide information technology support for the chapter and/or serve as the network administrator for the chapter local area network.
Position Responsibilities
Administer, maintain and control all chapter financial and accounting records.
Supervise, process and control payment of all chapter expenses and receipts.
Process and maintain chapter personnel files and payroll.
Administer and control the inventory for the chapter.
Order/purchase offices supplies, campaign and educational materials.
Control and maintain files.
Assist in budget preparation; work with treasurer on ensuring maximum return on investment.
May perform the following:
o Add and/or manage User profiles on NT Server
o Software upgrades in a timely manner
o Back up Chapter data according to the guidelines listed in the Chapter System Administrators guide
o Maintain and update media library
o Serve as the primary contact for the National Office, Help Desk, and Regional office concerning information technology issues.
Assist in planning and organizing committee meetings, board meetings, and staff and volunteer meetings.
Process and control documents for thank you/donor file.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor s degree or equivalent with 2 4 years of directly related work experience required.
Thorough knowledge of accounting and accounting systems (JD Edwards, Peach Tree, Quickbooks).
Thorough working knowledge and experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Office preferred); familiar with Internet and e-mail.
Supervisory management experience helpful.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to lift and carry boxes.
Must be able to use a printer, copier, telephone, and fax machine.
Must successfully complete a credit and criminal background check.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
