Compliance Assistant-Quality and Safety Lab Systems
Summary Position Summary Supports NorDx's Privacy and Compliance Programs.
Performs routine audits and investigations to assure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
This position will maintain necessary policies and procedures required to maintain corporate compliance objectives, under the direction of the Compliance Officer, Laboratory Operations Director, and Maine Health Compliance and Privacy departments.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Associates degree preferred.
License/Certifications:
Certificate in Compliance a plus.
Experience:
Two years of Healthcare and HIPPA experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Excel and Word and be able to work efficiently with a variety of laboratory computer systems.
Effectively communicates both verbally and in written form with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
