Amount prorated for part-time Per Diem positions not eligible for bonus Position Summary This position will be a generalist (psychologist) mental health Clinician with interest, training and/or experience integrating mental health services into the primary care/specialty care setting.
This position will be placed in primary care/specialty care practices, work with adults, families and children; and provide assessment, screening, and referral services.
Additionally, brief individual therapy, prevention and educational services will be provided and include collaborative work with primary care physicians and their office staff, psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers.
The psychologist will also work with primary care/specialty care team members to develop specific clinical pathways or best practice programs for targeted patient groups.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:
Licensed Psychologist at the Doctoral Level.
License/Certifications:
Licensed Psychologist at the Doctoral Level.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Experience:
Two years or more of work experience in a health or mental health setting preferred, in order to have proficiency in psychosocial assessment and treatment.
Knowledge of evidenced based clinical theories, therapies and techniques, as used in individual, family and group treatment, as well as principles of social welfare Ability to teach principles and applications to the medical setting Must have considerable knowledge of community resources and agencies and how to use them in resolving complex problems related to health, illness and disability Recommended Skills Behavioral Medicine Clinical Works Community Mental Health Services Diseases And Disorders Mental Health Primary Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
