The American Heart Associations Internship Program provides college students with an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets of event planning and implementation, volunteer management, and community outreach.
It will offer experience in the use of current business and development technologies, including the use of computer and software applications.
Our internships offer the opportunity to gain professional experience with a national non-profit organization, further develop communication and presentation skills, and experience skills in team collaboration and customer service.
The Association offers many resources to help you maintain work-life harmonization through your changing needs and life situations.

Internship Overview:

Remote in Eastern States only.
Internship Outcomes:
Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to:

Gain important and practical job skills to be successful in a non-profit environment
Opportunity to explore a career-path with a reputable voluntary health/service organization
Gain experience in the professional world while learning about board management
Complete an internship that enriches your academic and professional resume as well as enriching your personal life by making a difference in the lives of others Responsibilities Responsibilities include assisting the Regional Development Team with the implementation of a SmartSheet spreadsheet detailing regional events, email campaigns, and fair market values.
Tasks could include things like the following:

Working with the SmartSheet software system.

Assistance with data entry of regional event data and researching regional event data.

Setting up reports from SmartSheet to detail regional event activity
Assisting regional staff with other activities involving regional campaigns.
Qualifications
Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills.

Ability to work professionally with colleagues.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.

Intermediate use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Intermediate knowledge of SmartSheet is a plus.

Minimum availability of 20 hrs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
