We are growing and actively seeking a PART-TIME (20 hrs/week) Payroll Coordinator/Accounting Assistant to work in our Scarborough office.
Candidates MUST have recent payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now.
The Payroll Coordinator/Accounting Assistant is responsible for accurate processing of payroll using ADP Workforce Now and accounts receivable functions as well as assisting with HR functions as requested.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Accurate processing of payroll by collecting time and attendance records from AlayaCare platform and entering data into ADP Workforce Now.
Creates and submits employee data reports as required for Federal and State compliance.
Accurately maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
Assist with Accounts Receivable and collections Assist General Manager with On-boarding new employees and Annual Open Enrollment for employee benefits.
Maintains quality service by following organization policies and procedures Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Previous payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now is required.
Previous accounts receivable experience a plus.
Previous Human Resources experience a plus.
High School diploma or GED is required.
Candidates must have strong computer skills and experience in operating Microsoft Windows and Google doc applications.
Candidates should be dependable, have strong organization skills, possess good verbal communication skills and be able to maintain employee confidentiality.
Must be able to function in an environment with minimal direct supervision.
Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to the agency's policies and procedures on an on-going basis.
A criminal background will be performed on all employees.
Employment is contingent upon a clean criminal background.
Starting wage is $25.
00 hour, Schedule is Monday through Friday (20 hours) and hours are flexible.

This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
Requires working in our Scarborough office.
Scope of Position:
Reports to General Manager.
